CCBOC Community Drop-In Center
The purpose of the CCBOC Community Drop-In Center is to provide no-cost assistance to members of the Bridgeport community who may be in need of community based referrals or services for adults 18 years of age or older. This program is open to the general public and designed to serve the community by meeting the immediate needs of the people.
Weekly Services Offered:
- Pastoral Counseling (by appointment)
- Job Search Services (resume writing, job search assistance, interviewing skills, dress for success)
- Case Management (obtain needs assessment and referrals for service)
- Prayer (by appointment)
- Weekly Community Education Workshops/Training (some specialized classes require a registration fee, please refer to course schedule for details. All classes are open to the general public, all classes require registration as space is limited)

- Health Fairs
- Blood Drives
- Training Classes *
- Community Education Workshops
Each Drop-In Center Attendee will be asked to sign a consent form that will be valid for 1-year from date signed and must sign-in on a weekly sign-in sheet and show a photo ID (ID number & expiration date will be recorded) . Basic case notes will be kept on any crisis intervention services or referrals provided. If Attendee is being referred directly from another community service provider or agency, please email: firstname.lastname@example.org or rachel.ccboc.church in order to obtain a referral form. Any information sharing requests will also require a signed release of information from the Attendee.
Volunteers will be in-serviced on mandated reporting, First Aid, CPR, suicide /crisis intervention, and domestic violence screening.
ALL instances that immediate danger is suspected (i.e. child abuse, suicide) proper reporting procedures will be followed without exception.
All training / community education courses are provided by Vibrant Family Services. Training/Education courses are donated to CCBOC (except certification courses). The requested registration/ donation amount for specialized courses covers individual hand-outs, facility use, certificate of completion, & refreshments (when noted). Basic Community Education Courses (i.e. Housing 101) are offered free (no donation requested).

This program is a collaborative effort between Christian Community Body of Christ & Vibrant Family Services. Christian Community Body of Christ ( CCBOC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Drop-In Center contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
